Rawanee first sprouted in 2020, a dream that was planted some years before. It drew a circle, a small one initially, where a poem - then a few - were passed around a room. Conversations lingered in the mind, and emotions bubbled to surface, blending into a happy space of creative camaraderie.
Across the years, the circle widened. Virtual welcomed hybrid and in person. The circle grew across screens, languages, cities - we gathered around migration, memory, faith, fracture, identity, joy, responsibility. We stayed rooted, but we grew global - united by our humanness.
Alongside the Mehfils, the podcasts, the published work, an undercurrent of honesty, conversation and ideas began to surface. Questions rise that need time, space and focus to unpack. From this collective seeking, grows the branch of Studio Rawanee. Writing, colour, stories - they turn to thought, to mapping what we carry, to discovering our strength and possibility.
For many years, I have worked at the intersection of creativity, structure, and responsibility - holding rooms, guiding difficult conversations, navigating complexity with care. Studio brings that steadiness into a creative, practice-based space.
Studio FUNgah. Because seeking can be joyful, fun. Rawanee is the creative flow of the collective - a voice. Studio FUNgah is the space that works with the humans behind the voices, where creativity breeds clarity, healing, expression and resilience.

As the world burns, and people find themselves helpless as their own people - or other people - struggle, heavy grief sets in. For those of us who believe in our common humanity, solidarity becomes important. We gather to speak to this grief and show solidarity toward each other.
Our guide is proportion and clarity as we reclaim our agency as humans through structured creative exercises and reflection:
• Reflections on classic poetic texts
• Guided reflective writing
• Colour-based mapping
• Moderated poetry reading & story sharing event fostering community
